Hello and welcome back to Push to Smart, while we won’t have a new episode debuting today we do have the exciting announcement that I will be a part of a panel at this year’s Emerald City Comicon!

This Friday in Hall I at 10:50am I will be joining three others on a panel titled “Taking Fandom Seriously.” Joining me on the panel will be Rachel Edidin, Andrea Gilroy, and Douglas Wolk. We will discuss that fine line between geeking out and critically engaging with the media we love.
